Pace and Anna Katess love story is a testimony of faith, patience, and trusting Gods perfect plan for their lives. They met on February 8, 2023, in Birmingham, Alabama. On their first date, Anna Kate and Pace knew something was different. This wasnt just any ordinary date. Anna Kate and Pace had so much in common. They couldnt stop talking, laughing, and asking intentional questions. While Pace lived in Birmingham and Anna Kate lived in Mississippi, she often worked in Alabama at the time. Now, a short year later, Pace lives in Mississippi, he has a new job, and they are engaged!





The moment Pace knew Anna Kate was the one:



I knew after our first date to Top Golf that there was something different about Anna Kate. The first night we met, she was confident, outgoing, and VERY pretty. She also wasn’t a better golfer than me, and that was what really mattered. That date was different than any other first date I had been on because she talked about her faith, and we both talked about how our families’ morals and beliefs matched. After the following few dates, we continued to learn more and more about each other. I saw how thoughtful, caring, and generous-minded she is. Five months later, I accepted a job in Ellisville, MS, and was conveniently living four minutes down the road from her. Looking at that in the third person, I was either not thinking at all, or I was confident that she was the one God put on Earth for me. It was definitely the second. I am so happy and blessed that I get to spend the rest of my earthly days with the love of my life.



The moment Anna Kate knew Pace was the one:



Pace had asked to cook for me, so I came over. Of course, Pace was trying to impress me, and it was working. I mean, come on, he was an Auburn football player, cute, and tall–what is not to love? I remember it was maybe our third date. As I left that night, I called one of my closest friends and told her everything...and you know what she told me? ‘Anna, he is a good guy. He knows what he wants, and this is what you have been praying for. A guy who is straightforward and wants to pursue you and only you.’ As this started to sink in, I can say at that moment, I knew there was something special about Pace. I would be a fool not to give him a chance, and thats precisely what I did. Now, I will get to marry my best friend on February 8, 2025, two years later from the date we met. Our story is truly a testimony of being in the right place at the right time in Gods perfect timing.
